Once you have your digital certificate, you can apply to be an eNotary here. When filling out the form, open your IdenTrust digital certificate on your computer so that you have the information handy.
When asked what technology you will be using to perform notarizations, enter: "I am using secure, encrypted, and recorded videoconferencing and storage technology that complies with state remote online notarization law. Electronic signing of PDF documents using Adobe Pro and the alike technologies."
For CA name, enter: IdenTrust
For CA website, enter: IdenTrust.com
For Digital Certificate validity dates, use the date of your IdenTrust digital signature approval and the expiration date provided on your digital certificate
During the application, you will be asked to download and digitally sign a document as part of your application.
Download the document and open it in Adobe Acrobat. You will see a form box where you need to apply your seal. Click the box.
A window like this will pop up. Under the "Appearance" dropdown, select your notary seal (First Middle Last_NotarySeal_Exp.MM/DD/YYYY).
When you select that option, your seal should appear in place of text.
Click "Sign"
Your document should look as it does here.
Save the sealed document and upload it into your notary application.
Complete your notary application and submit it.
